Venner Shipley announces three new Partners as part of 2026 promotions round

We are pleased to announce the promotion of three new Partners, effective 1 July 2026: Henry Aldridge, Jack Rogan and Sarah Neil.

New Partners

Henry Aldridge is a European and UK Patent Attorney in our Electronics, Software and Communications team. He is experienced in drafting, filing and prosecuting patent applications across a range of technical fields, including telecommunications, video coding, consumer electronics, medical devices, software-related inventions and electric vehicles. Henry has a particular interest in artificial intelligence (AI), having drafted and prosecuted AI-related inventions across these technologies.

Jack Rogan is a European and UK Patent Attorney in our Mechanical Engineering team. He has experience drafting and prosecuting European, UK and international patent applications across a broad range of mechanical and electromechanical technologies, as well as conducting opposition proceedings and advising on design protection. Jack works with clients ranging from multinational engineering companies and universities to start-ups and SMEs, helping them develop and protect valuable intellectual property.

Sarah Neil is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney in our Trade Marks team. She specialises in all aspects of trade mark law, with a particular focus on clearance, filing strategies and portfolio management, as well as representing clients in contentious matters before the UK Intellectual Property Office. Sarah is also highly experienced in domain name disputes, having successfully handled numerous complaints under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) and the UK Dispute Resolution Service (DRS).
