Profile
Charlotte is a European and UK Patent Attorney in our Chemical and Life Sciences team, and specialises in biotechnology patent matters. Charlotte has experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in a wide variety of technical areas, including molecular biology, biochemistry, gene therapy, immunology, antibodies, vaccines, biomarkers, and diagnostics. In addition to drafting and prosecution, Charlotte has also gained experience in advising clients in relation to freedom-to-operate.

Education
Charlotte graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2019 with a first class honours degree in Biological Sciences. During her degree, Charlotte focused her studies on bacterial and eukaryotic gene regulation, cancer biology, microbiology and pharmaceuticals and therapeutic biologicals, with a research project investigating the effectiveness of a repurposed drug combination in treating multiple myeloma.
Since entering the profession, Charlotte has obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary, University of London.
