Venner Shipley is the trading name of Venner Shipley LLP and Venner Shipley Germany LLP.
On 30 November 2024, the partners and staff of AA Thornton IP LLP joined Venner Shipley LLP to carry on business together under the name Venner Shipley from 1 December 2024. For no purposes should Venner Shipley LLP be considered a successor practice to AA Thornton IP LLP or its predecessor practices, including for the purposes of insurance or the IPReg Rules of Conduct relating to insurance. AAT continues to have insurance in place.
Venner Shipley Legal Limited, company no. 10023283, ceased operating in May 2024 and was dissolved on 27 January 2026, with insurance remaining in place.
Venner Shipley LLP is a limited liability partnership incorporated pursuant to the Limited Liability Partnerships Act 2000 registered in England and Wales (registered number OC308202), whose registered office is TIDE Bankside, 8 Emerson Street, London SE1 9DU. Lawyers practising in Venner Shipley’s Germany LLP are admitted as lawyers (“Rechtsanwalt”) in the Federal Republic of Germany and are members of the Munich Bar Association (Rechtsanwaltskammer www.rak-muenchen.de).
