Profile

Fabian is a UK and European Patent Attorney specialising in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science. Fabian has particular experience in prosecution and drafting patent applications in the fields of manufacturing, medical devices, automotives, nanotechnology, aerospace and construction. Fabian has worked with clients ranging from individuals and small businesses to large multi-national corporations.

Fabian is also experienced in Registered Design Rights, having advised and dealt with registered design applications.

Education

Fabian graduated from the University of Cambridge with a first class masters degree. Fabian studied Natural Sciences and specialised in Materials Science which covered a broad range of subjects such as: Biomaterials, Energy Harvesting, Crystallography, Alloys, Polymers and Ceramics. His final year research project involved designing and testing a microfluidic force sensor for use during total hip arthroplasty. Fabian also has experience in the nanotechnology field, having worked previously in the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre where he assisted in bringing graphene technologies to industry.
