Philip Reid

Profile

Philip is a UK and European Patent Attorney in our Electronics, Software and Communications team. Since joining Venner Shipley, Philip has gained experience in patent prosecution and opposition in a range of technical fields including display technology, consumer electronics, telecommunications, and electric vehicle technology, among others.

Education

Philip graduated from the University of Warwick with a First Class Master of Physics degree. His degree included study of semiconductor devices, high-performance computing, optoelectronics, and medical devices. Philip specialised during his Master’s project in data processing for X-ray diffraction imaging of ferroelectric domain structures.

Philip has also been awarded a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London.
