Matthew Colonna

Profile

Matthew is a European and UK Patent Attorney in our Electronics, Software and Communications team. He assists in the prosecution of patent applications in the UK and Europe from across the field of electronics and telecommunications.

Education

Matthew graduated from the University of Warwick with a first class honours degree in Physics, during which he studied optoelectronics and laser physics, power generation, semiconductors, and physics in medicine. For his final year project, Matthew investigated the phase imaging of polymers using electron microscopy and computer simulation. He also holds a certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary, University of London.

Matthew has also succesfully completed the CIPA litigation skills course.
