Lucy is a Partner and Chartered UK Trade Mark Attorney. Her practice includes managing international trade mark portfolios for global brands and her expertise covers contentious matters, dispute resolution, searches, clearance and all aspects of trade mark, design and domain name portfolio management.
Lucy’s career started working in-house in the pharmaceutical sector at a Glaxo company and on to an international law firm in the City of London. In-house projects included global brand clearance for anti-viral products and anti-counterfeiting measures for over-the-counter products. Lucy regularly attends sector events, and has spoken at the Pharmaceutical Trade Marks Group international meeting.
Lucy advises both domestic and international clients, in industries including pharmaceuticals, gaming, cosmetics, fintech, banking, food and retail.
Lucy regularly participates in CITMA events and has recently been co-chair of the Emerging Technology Special Interest Group on the CITMA AI Task Force.
Education
Lucy has a Law degree from Birmingham University as well as being qualified as a UK barrister and solicitor (non-practising).
