Kyle Struthers-Burgess

Profile

Kyle is a UK Patent Attorney in our Chemical and Life Sciences team. Since joining Venner Shipley, Kyle has gained experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications across a broad range of areas, including medical devices, cell and gene therapies, biologics, agriculture and food products. Kyle also has experience in providing freedom to operate advice to clients and in managing complicated assignments in multiple jurisdictions.

Education

Kyle graduated from the University of Manchester with a PhD in Regenerative Medicine. His doctoral studies involved working on engineering peptide hydrogels for advanced 3D cell culture applications. After obtaining a PhD, Kyle worked as a post-doctoral research associate at the University of Manchester developing topical therapies targeting systemic sclerosis-related calcinosis.
