INTA 2026 – Things to do in London during INTA

With INTA 2026 taking place in London across 1-6 May, there is plenty happening across the city alongside the conference. Whether you have a free afternoon, an evening between meetings, or a full day to explore, below we highlight some of the best things to see and do during your stay.

Theatre and West End shows

London’s West End is one of the world’s leading theatre districts and offers a wide range of shows throughout the year, including during the INTA period (1–6 May). Popular long‑running productions playing during this time include:

• The Phantom of the Opera – Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic musical, performed nightly at His Majesty’s Theatre
• Les Misérables – The acclaimed epic musical at the Sondheim Theatre
• The Lion King – Disney’s award‑winning production at the Lyceum Theatre

Sporting events

London is home to many different stadiums that host football, rugby, cricket and more. Over INTA weekend, the city’s main sporting events will be Premier League football matches. Tickets for Premier League matches can be hard to come by, but the best routes for getting these are either via the official club sites – or approved resale partners. If unable to get a ticket, another authentic London sporting experience is to watch a match in a traditional pub setting amongst other fans.

Museums and exhibitions

• The British Museum – One of the world’s leading museums, home to internationally significant collections spanning ancient civilisations, including Egyptian, Greek, Roman and Asian artefacts. Free entry; located in Bloomsbury
• The National Gallery – Situated in Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery houses masterpieces of Western European painting by artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Van Gogh, Turner and Rembrandt. Free entry and centrally located for easy visits between meetings
• Tate Modern – Tracey Emin: A Second Life – A major retrospective exploring four decades of work by one of Britain’s most influential contemporary artists. While there is a cost to see this exhibition, the gallery is free to enter and is located a stone’s throw away from Venner Shipley’s new London office.
• The National Gallery – Zurbarán – The first UK exhibition dedicated to Spanish Baroque master Francisco de Zurbarán, featuring religious paintings and still lifes from major international collections

With the INTA finale at the Tate Modern on Wednesday 6 May, below are some options for dinner or drinks nearby, either before or after the event.

• Founders Arms (Bankside) – An iconic riverside pub directly opposite St Paul’s Cathedral
• The Blackfriar (Blackfriars) – This traditional pub is a short walk over Blackfriars Bridge from the Tate Modern
• Pulse Bar (Bankside) – A smart hotel bar conveniently located at Hilton London Bankside, moments from the Tate Modern
• The Distillery Bar (Bankside) – A modern craft spirits bar that is a short walk from the Tate Modern
